Hays Sale Report March, 2, 2008 in Hays Kansas A crowd of over 200 in attendance as Jim Birdwell opened fire with the lead off bull that was a full sib in blood to Rito 2V1 followed up with a flush brother to him. Many flush brothers and maternal ET brothers sold throughout the sale. High selling yearling bull was the Lot 1 Future Direction son out of a Bando 5175 daughter going to Steele Horse Ranch in Elbert , CO for $5500! Second high selling bull was a fall yearling and direct son of EXT, Lot 41 going to ERN-DEN Farms, Hays, KS for $4500. Other top selling bulls were Lot 2 a son of Mytty In Focus out of a Bando 5175 daughter going to Spruce Mountain Ranch of Larkspur, CO for $4100, Lot 42 sold to Cramer Creek Ranch in Rush , CO for $4200 he was a son of Destination 928 out of a Traveler 8180 daughter. Many bulls sold between $3000 and $4000 keeping the sale at a steady pace. Several volume and repeat buyers were in attendance.
